Recipe: Beer Cheese Dip

Two words: Beer & cheese. Need we say more?


  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup beer of choice
  • 2 tbls Butter
  • 3 tbls flour
  • 1 1/2 cups cheddar cheese, grated
  • 1/2 cup gruyere, grated
  • 1/4 tsp paprika
  • 1/4 tsp garlic
  • 1/2 tsp dijon mustard
  • Corn Chips

Beer cheese skillet dip


  1. In a cast iron skillet or frypan over hot coals, add the butter and melt. Whisk in the flour followed by the milk and then the beer.
  2. Add in the cheese and stir until melted.
  3. Add in the paprika, garlic, and dijon mustard and whisk until it is desired consistency.
  4. Serve with Corn Chips.
